On 10th Nov 2011 a number of European companies announced the creation of a joint initiative with an objective to establish a European Technology Platform in the area of HPC. The following press release contains the details of that announcement.
19 July 2011 - Following an open, transparent and democratic process involving all PROSPECT members, our organisation has decided to become a European Technology Platform in the area of High-Performance Computing. Please consult the press release below for more details.
25 July 2011 - Following a press release on 22 July 201, a number of media sources have featured articles on our initiative, for example:
PROSPECT members have produced a Vision Document required to establish a Technology Platform. It defines the position of European High-Performance Computing industry in 2020.
PROSPECT members have also agreed on a Letter of Intent in order to found the Platform. It has been signed by a majority of our members.
